Word is getting around my son’s school that I’m writing a book based on his class. It’s awesome and in what I consider Christian fashion, I can’t feel any other way than humbled. Actually, there is another feeling and that is inspired!
Knowing that more and more people are aware and have nothing but well wishes and support keep me motivated and on track.
When I wrote New Breed, it was just me, seeing a challenge through. I’ve struggled with insecurities because people seem to either love or hate Vampires. I felt as though I had to defend my topic choice. My first book is truly a character piece, with the added interest of the Vampire element.
I have a difficult time not being modest, although I’m very sure of my talent and I desperately want to share my stories with others. I’m really my own worst enemy when it comes to marketing! One thing I would ask is continued support and trust that anything I put my name to will be an exciting read and filled with quality from start to finish!
