Reset

In 2022, I started on a mission. I began writing about my experience as a Sudden Cardiac Attack survivor. My husband hoped that it would be cathartic, and perhaps it has been, just a little. I’ve prayed and meditated as I’ve gone through the process of sharing the most traumatic event in my life.

I’ve tried to understand what my purpose is after dying after each attack, having an outer-body experience, and being brought back to life. It became apparent that raising awareness in the way I know how as a writer was what I should do to try and make a difference.

I have been very candid. I kept this wound open and wrote in great detail for the purpose of letting people that haven’t been indoctrinated into the world of heart disease as a warning of what life could be like.

I wrote this book for those that have lived through any form of heart attack and find that those around them don’t quite understand.

I wrote this book also for loved ones that have tried to support someone that has survived and is struggling with how to cope or is overwhelmed with PTSD from the event.

Essentially, this story is for everyone. It doesn’t matter if you have health habits that will undoubtedly contribute to a greater risk of developing heart disease. It could also be factors that a person may have no control over, like family genetics or a health condition that could facilitate the onset of heart disease.

My circumstances were family genetics and a life long battle with Type 1 diabetes. I am convinced that my faith in God and my respect for a healthy lifestyle allowed me to go through this experience and come out on the other side with a testimonial powerful enough to change lives for the better.

My only concern is that no matter what I went through and nothing I wrote about it will matter or help if people don’t know about my book or that they do and choose not to read it’s contents.

I’m not selling a miracle drug or inexpensive clothing. I’m trying to do something that is bigger than me. Reset will be available on Amazon.com April 2,2024. I am working very hard to have it carried in local book stores. Anything beyond that will truly be from God’s grace.
